Wherever there was a handprint, there was a nickname.

For (Y/n), it was on her neck with what she considered to be a strange nickname. She assumed that when she first met her soulmate, she'd be killed off. Just another dead body at somebody's hands, so she did what she felt was logical by always covering it up, not letting anyone see it.

For her soulmate, the handprints were on his forearms, a nickname written in black placed across them. He didn't mind them, but always kept them covered with the sleeves of his hoodie.

But when you kiss your soulmate for the first time, you tattoo glows and shows their name. But this only happens when it is love and love only. (So if you just kiss someone to kiss them then your tattoo won't glow) As for your soulmate dying, your tattoo turns black and shows a small picture of them with their name under.
