It was funny when I read other novels that portray people getting sucked out in a novel or an otome game. Until that happened to me. I wake up, groggy and feeling a bit heavy. I've been very depressed and heartbroken so, what better than to create a story out of it? "This is my life" details a protagonist going through her teenage years up until the age of 21. Through love, friendship, grief, and heartbreak, you will get to witness what it's like being a young black girl trying to conquer the world. I hope anyone going through either heartbreak, grief, insecurities, mental health declines are able to read this and know that they're not alone!
