Chionophiles are any organisms (animals, plants, fungi, etc.) that can thrive in cold winter conditions (the word is derived from the Greek word chion meaning "snow", and -phile meaning "lover"). These animals have specialized adaptations that help them survive the harshest winters.
But what happens when two chionophile hearts collide? They simply unchain a chemical reaction that slowly melts down all of the ice layers that cover them.
Elna Fraser is running from her past, Killian Hudson is stuck in it. She wants to forget, he needs to remember. When they first meet, they both feel a weird connection between the two. Little did they know that connection was their chionophile hearts reaching out to help one another.
