Kayleena Reid is your average nerd with good grades, never getting into trouble, and has never missed a school day in her life. She's shy, loves to read, and not very good with the opposite gender. Mason Sky is your average bad boy with barely passing grades, always getting into trouble, and tends to not even show up to school. He's loud, very outgoing, and has a way with the ladies. So when Lena is forced to leave her hometown to a small town where everyone knows each other how does she adapt to knowing everybody to knowing no one? What happens when she gets associated with the small town's bad boy? Ice and fire don't mix together well, so how will Lena and Mason mix?

"What's your problem?" He asks darkly. "What's your problem?" I spit back. "Why do you keep following me?" He hisses. "I don't follow you!" I shout back. "Then how come where ever I go you end up going or being there?" He questions in a raised voice. "Its a coincidence." I say back in the same tone. He then moves forward towards me, and I take a step back but my back hits the brick wall. He puts his arms up his palms against the wall caging me in looking into my eyes. I won't look at him though, I look to the ground scared. "Just leave me alone...stay away." He whispers in my ear before he walks away to his car with his head down. -- When Dylan accidentally bumps into Mason in school things change. Dylan isn't scared away from him, or the rumors about him. She wonders about him, and what is up with him. When Mason decides Dylan needs to stay away from him he can't seem to keep it that way. He has a weird need to protect her... From everything. Which means finding out about her past... Will he soften up around her, or keep is bad boy dangerous ways? What happened when his fighting life comes into his normal life? What will happen when they find out about Dylan? Will Mason be able to keep her safe? Or will his boss find a way to keep him fighting?
