A good time ahead into the future, a new education system has been declared throughout the lands, it revolving around each student harnessing an 'Ultimate'. These Ultimates are the best of their class in certain professions and topics, which means that there's quite a lot of people who don't end up with one.
It is a move in the right direction though!
However, with new progresses come new troubles, and soon enough, horrors break lose among the animals living their slightly reformed lives.
...Too bad Peppa and her friends, the youngest era of Ultimates, are caught up in their own little horror, lead by a host of black and white.

This book takes place during the Despair Arc and later books continue in chronological order of the series installments.
