Hers First, His Always
Rudy Pankow x Serena Woodsen (OC) Serena Woodsen and Rudy Pankow have lived across the street from each other in Charleston their whole lives. From scraped knees and rope swings to endless dock nights under Carolina sunsets, they grew up side by side, never needing words to explain the bond between them. To everyone else-Drew Starkey, Madelyn Cline, and Chase Stokes included-they were inseparable. To Serena, Rudy was more than that. He was the boy who held her heart before either of them knew what love was. But then came Elaine. The girl who slid into their summers with a smile that never reached her eyes. The girl Rudy couldn't seem to look away from. By high school, Serena found herself pushed aside, her feelings locked away, her heart breaking silently as Rudy fell for someone else. She left for modeling, Rudy chased acting, and the golden summers that once defined them faded into distance. Years later, fate pulls them back together when Serena is cast in Outer Banks as Elena Routledge-John B's twin sister, JJ's best friend, and Rafe's messy ex. Reuniting with Rudy, Maddie, Chase, and Drew feels like home again, and the cast grows with Madison Bailey and Jonathan Daviss, who instantly become family. On-screen, Elena and JJ's fiery chemistry takes the world by storm. Off-screen, Serena and Rudy's unresolved history threatens to unravel everything. Caught between old wounds and new beginnings, rumors, jealousy, and Elaine's return, Serena and Rudy are forced to face what they've spent years avoiding: that the line between best friends and soulmates has always been blurred. From childhood docks to red carpets, heartbreak to healing, Hers First, His Always is a story of love that never really goes away-only waits for the right moment to finally shine.
