The darkness escaped the sorcerer's hat and has found a new host, Elaine Swan. She is the new Dark One, can her family, friends and love bring her back into the light or will they lose her to the darkness forever? Killian promises Elaine that he will help bring her back into the light and that he won't let her slip away from him like the previous doppelgangers. On their quest to bring Elaine back into the light they find themselves in Camelot where they meet new friends, new foes and old acquaintances. Upon their return from Camelot, their memories are gone and Elaine has accepted the darkness completely. 
    
    After an incident with the Dark One, the heroes have to go to the Underworld to save someone dear to everyone. During their search, they end up getting trapped in the Underworld by the ruler, Hades, who isn't happy about them helping his citizens as they continue their task. Can they save their friend? Can they get home or will they be trapped in the Underworld forever? Will Killian and Elaine's curse finally be broken?
