She walked slowly, her fragile figure silhouetted against the misty rain, her heart clearly burdened by a sorrow too heavy for words. Her eyes, once vibrant with laughter and light, were now distant, clouded by the pain of a truth she had learned far too soon. ╰┈➤Through the soft drizzle, I heard her voice break the silence: "No one stays. Everyone leaves." The words were like fragile glass, shattering in the air. She didn't turn to look at me, as though afraid that even the slightest glance would reveal the depth of her hurt. I watched her, my heart aching for her, wishing I could shield her from the world's cruelty, from the loneliness she so quietly carried. ╰┈➤Without thinking, I rushed to her side, my jacket in hand, and gently draped it over her slender shoulders. I feel that there is so much published work on Wattpad that deserves to be acknowledged but people a) Don't have the time b) Don't read new books with low reads or c) Can't find them. I've read so many undiscovered books here and I usually comment on how to improve and what is done well.
