Temptations

On a chilly spring day, before the snow had melted from the ground, the majority of humanity woke up with a tattoo on their arm. Encrypted on the ink was a temptation; cigarettes or a girl or money, and if they succumbed to the temptation, then they were brutally killed. No one knows where the tattoos came from, or how to get rid of them. More importantly, no one can seem to escape the fate written on their arm. Neveah's in her last year in college, working as a bartender at a nightclub in Miami to pay for her tuition. During the day she sleeps, and at night she works. Her fiance doesn't understand why she works at night, but her boyfriend at the club understands perfectly. Neveah lives her life throughout a series of intricate lies, until she wakes up one morning with a tattoo that tells her not to lie on her arm, and the premonition that she will die if she does not obey it.
