After the events of Civil War, the Avengers were left fractured emotionally and politically. Some became fugitives, others worked in secret, and several walked away after the battle in Wakanda. Thanos did come... but he never got the chance to snap. The Avengers, divided and bleeding, stood together one last time with unexpected help and stopped him. No one died, but the scars ran deep. Now they are trying to get back together. The world, however, lost faith in its heroes. Governments stopped trusting them. Oscorp rose quietly from the shadows. And old enemies like Zemo began gathering strength, ready to strike when the world's protectors were at their weakest. Nick Fury disappeared after the final battle. But he never stopped watching. From the shadows He was looking for survivors. People with conviction. People who had lost and kept going. People like her. You weren't just another recruit. Set 6 months after endgame, Sam decided not to take up the mantle of captain America and when he gives away the shield nothing but bad comes out of it.
