Rosie Labrun is a lot of things: a college student on the cusp of graduation; an intern for the Portland Pirates, a romance novel connoisseur; and the most recent addition to her resume...the girlfriend of a professional athlete. She won't let it define her, though; no, she will define it. I mean, in theory. In reality, she's just as vulnerable to the pressure of the public eye as a child star that's hasn't yet been sent to rehab. Then there's Erik King: a professional hockey player and recovering catfish, who's finally managed to land the woman of his dreams. He's also managed to knock her up within a few hours of becoming her boyfriend - but that's besides the point...I think. Thrusted into the florescent spotlight of money and fame, will these two lovebirds be able to make it through whatever challenges come their way? Or is happily ever after, really only something that happens in romance novels?
