As previously seen in V.1, One Warm Winter, Viviane and Kallias are happily married, after a long battle for love. Their lives seem to be complete, without a flaw in sight. But below the surface, desperation and longing pound away at their lives. They long for a child, a blessing to their days, the completion to their lives.
