The madness and craziness in his eyes only made more tears stream down my cheeks. He was a complete psychopath. "Don't close those pretty eyes when I am making love with you, amore. Look at me, your husband." He rasped out and pounded inside me again, sending a painful jolt throughout my body. When was this going to finally end? I can't take this agonizing torture anymore. Tears blurred my hazy vision and a strangling sound left my throat when Elliott wrapped his hand around my throat. He was choking me mercilessly. I gasped for air and begged him to let me go but like always, he never did. He will never let me go. He leaned down and pressed a tender kiss on my jaw before we both came at the same time, as he filled my insides. I thought maybe this was the end, but he had other plans. Evolution
There are a lot of things you don't really think about until they happen to you. Take rape, for instance. I always thought, "That won't happen to me. I have a boyfriend. I trust him. He would never take advantage of me like that..." I couldn't have been more wrong. Love in this day and age is often confused for manipulation and abuse. The warning signs are here. The things we say will tell us everything that is wrong. You are worth more than what you think you are. It's not your fault. If they tell you otherwise, get out. Burn the bridge. Always remember someone is waiting for you to walk into their life. Someone needs you. Someone loves you. Getting away from all of the wrong people and finding the right ones could save you. I can promise you right now that it saved me. These are the journal entries and selected poems from my first experience of love that left a unpleasant taste in my mouth- quite literally. His Ruthless Temptation
I saw her long before she saw me. She didn't know then that her fate had already been sealed, that every step she took was drawing her closer to me. Closer to what she would become. There was something in her-something fragile, something wild. A fear she tried to hide, wrapped in defiance and confidence. It was intoxicating, watching her, knowing that no one else could see what I saw. No one else could feel the pull like I did. The slow, deliberate unraveling of her world as it would soon be tethered to mine. I felt my heart beat once, hard and fast. It was the only signal I needed.
