Five students. Five separate lives

Intertwined amongst the panels of fate.

-------

When five seemingly normal kids, all from separate walks of life are forced to interact throughout their first year of secondary school. Some of them... less willing than others.

But when they get lost in the woods on a field trip, what should they do? Especially with the looming dread that someone, anyone, may not find them, and that, if they are found... they won't be the same as when they went missing.

--------

Ah yes, writing. Hello, yes, I'm back at these stories again. This time I wrapped my friends into it. That's right! This book is being written by FIVE authors! Don't you just feel so special reading this.

Jokes aside, me and my friends all have different writing styles. I like to minimize my conversation, and rely on descriptive paragraphs. My friends, as you will soon see, don't.

We all hope that you enjoy this book of ours! We've all worked, and still work extremely hard to produce the most quality content we have (with as little continuity errors as possible, looking at you Warrior Cats)

This book is also set in a made up area near Yorktown, known as Witchaven. However, the authors are all from the U.S and as such, any mistakes regarding spelling, sayings, slang, and dates will be much appreciated by all the authors.

Lots of love <3

"You know it won't go to the West," he said dropping his voice. "Maybe you're wrong. Who knows," she shrugged. Her shoulders had slumped but she had managed to not let any tears spill. "Baum knew what he was doing when he made the West wicked, Mary," he hissed. "The East was wicked in that book too, dumbass," Mary retorted. Jacob's hands went into fists to keep from pushing at his hair. The tree behind them began to shake slightly. The ground gave a tiny rumble. *************************************************** Mary's father recently passed. But she is finding out it might not have been from natural causes... Family adversaries threaten everything while influential other worldly authorities pull the strings. Mary will have to work with an unlikely ally from her childhood to navigate their new found powers and reclaim balance. Meanwhile... one dark soul is climbing the ladder of chaos. [][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][] This story has short passages from multiple POV. Hopefully you will find a point of view you prefer. Feel free to leave a message. I love comments! As the story progresses you might notice some subtle (and not so subtle) parallels to the Wizard of Oz. As I always advise my students- give it three chapters before setting it aside. Thanks for reading and enjoy! ☺️ This book is in a perpetual state of needing editing. I hope to return to the chapters to add some details. I'm hoping for a sequel as time allows. Oh, the life a middle school teacher... {COMPLETED} "now that you've had your fun electrocuting me, would you care to hop in the backseat?" ---------------------------------------------------------- Freak DNA. That's what I like to call it. The fault to my genetic code. More often than not, it's a curse. The static running through my blood gave me a name. A cruel, daunting label of a measly bug. A roach. That's what I am to them, to the government. Roach; the nameless monster with electricity for a sense and lightening as a second nature. It ruined my life, the sparking currents playing tag in my mind, running around and bumping into everything, shaking me loose. The government, actually. They ruined my life. My curse just gave them a reason. You see, the normal population with ordinary DNA, they don't know about the people like me. The roaches of the world. We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise. And when we arrive, we will arrive violently. ___________________________________________ Started: 10.06.15 Finished: 3.17.16
Just One Drop by bloodrosesthorns

(Book 1 in the 'Blood Drops' series) Five drops for the vampires who drink it. Four for the creatures who relish in it. Three for the strong who take it. Two for the weak who cower from it. One for the humans from whom it is taken. *** This book, along with all the others in this series, was written in a manic creative frenzy when I was about 11-12 years old. I do not consider it quality work, nor do I find it representative of my writing skills today. I will not take it down, because it is still fairly popular and I enjoy reflecting upon how I have developed my writing over the years. All I ask is that if you choose to read the book(s), please take into consideration that this was written by a tween many years ago, and that I am not the same person (or writer) as I was then. Thank you. *** 16 year old Felicia Winters had a life no one would be proud to call their own. No friends and a dysfunctional family; she had been bullied for most of her life. Until the day when she was captured by vampires, and sold to their prince, Braith. As a mysterious bond forms between them, they both deny it and refuse each other. But as Felicia drifts further and further from him, a rift begins to form within Braith, putting him and his entire kingdom- in fact, the whole world- at risk. But will she be able to love the man who has abused her so much? Or has she already found another love? And as a werewolf rebellion brews in the shadows, they are running out of time. Soon there will only be rubble left to rule over. Will Felicia be able to bring peace to the world, or will the kingdom crumble? For just one drop is never enough. Thanks for your votes and comments, they mean the world to me. Please help me with constructive criticism if you can! (Also, I suck at summaries, so sorry about that). Sequel 'Two More Drops' up now! Final edition 'Three Drops Final' up! Cover by @-nightfalls

Five Star Reviews for Atlantis Academy: "Omg this book was amazing I couldn't put it down or stop reading. I carried it with me open on my phone while I did everything just to keep reading. I need more of all of this. Epic story, epic content, epic visuals, just epic. LOVE THIS!" "Once I got into this story, I did not stop reading it. This is a beautiful story about a very awkward girl who is riven with so much pain and angst and yet... this makes her who she is and shapes her into the person she will become. The world she finds herself awakened to is magical and yet filled with the all-too-familiar cliques and tribes of the very human people who inhabit it. One word to describe the story: beautiful!" "The story pulls you headlong to the end and leaves you wanting to shout "No! Not yet!" ...If there were 6 stars, I would have given it that." *** Humanity is one secret society away from extinction. The children of Atlantis use magic to keep us safe. If they make it through the Academy. Hi, I'm Lyric. And I'm kind of a mess. ADHD, that's me. I'm a high school drop-out, late everywhere I go, and one screw-up away from being homeless. I'm a loner, and I like it that way. Who needs friends when you have a Redwood forest nearby? Trees never bully me like the kids did at school. Or get drunk and throw things at my head. After my mom died, I figured life couldn't get much worse. I thought it might even get better. Ha. The universe has a great sense of humor. I should've listened to the rumors about evil spirits. About the angry, ancient magical creatures haunting our small Oregon Coast town. But did I? No. That was my first mistake. And it might be my last. 'Cause now I'm in a battle for my life. A whole new world has opened up... a magical world I don't understand. And the blood in my veins says I belong here. But I have to prove myself to save myself. And when have I ever done that?

The 12 Elementals by just-A_potato
51 parts Complete
Yet again Darkness is hungry for a war to end it all, but Light will always have troops at the ready. One girl. One kingdom. Eleven friends. Four Elements. No biggie. * I'm Melody, hybrid freak, nice to meet you, strange muggle who I know nothing about. I used to be like you, cluelessly ignorant and uninvolved with the outside world. You know, they have a big, yellow ball of gas in the sky. Weird. Anyway my life became something out of a bad Si-Fi movie, and no, Nicolas Cage isn't in it (sadly). There are two forces in the world, Light and Darkness, and when you side with Light, Darkness gets a stick up its ass and wants you to suffer. My friends and I, we roll with Light, you must know where that leads.... I have a kingdom to learn, powers to master, loud friends to keep in line, a boy that I'm messed up over, and above it all, Darkness to show whose boss. Not as easy as you might think, but this is MY story, and I know how it ends. Being a loyal follower of Light shows me the beauty in life and the devastation it can cause. Don't get me wrong, I love Light, but Darkness makes it hard to stay and fight. * Melody is weird. She's childish. She's awkward. And she's got boy issues she needs to work out. Mel will face evil like no other, but can she do it? Will the scales of Light and Darkness finally be tipped? How can one girl make a difference? This is Melody, a corky teenager, and she wants you to read her story. Like now. Enjoy! Highest rank- #69 in Fantasy (Still cant believe it!!)
