When Loki returns to the TVA after Sylvie shoved him away, he is heartbroken to find that the Mobius he encounters isn't *his* Mobius. He knows he has to get back to her and there is one way to do so - run into time and learn enchantment so he can pass Alioth himself. But when he finds her again, things don't go according to plan and Sylvie turns to the one person she knows will be able to bring Loki back from the ledge - Mobius. *His* Mobius. But Loki isn't in a good emotional state and needs someone to be very patient with him as he navigates grief, loss, and some traumatic experiences he's not entirely willing to name. Mobius doesn't waver, his friendship solid. He is up to the task and he has no intention of letting Loki feel like this forever. What he doesn't anticipate is just how much it will change both of their lives as they find love, seek out a place to call home, and discover a family.

Lore: When a Trickster Meets His Match by ExcentricWriterGirl

"Loki." Her hands were timid. They were much more shy than he had been, which should've made him wonder if he'd been too forward with his actions in the first place, and there was a tremble in each fingertip as she gently reached out and put her hands against his chest. He hoped that he hadn't given away his feelings, that his heart wasn't spilling out his thoughts through the morse-code splutter of each heartbeat as she put her palm against his heart. Her breath fluctuated from time to time, perhaps with a brush of his thumb across her mouth, or she became stunned by a thought or a feeling that floated through her. Sometimes their eyes were closed. Sometimes open. Regardless of what they could see, they stood in that embrace to feel the mingling of their breath and to hear the singing of their blood in their veins. "Darling," Loki spoke. The woman met his eyes. "May I kiss you?" Her gaze mellowed. It was all that he wanted to do. To say thank you. To say thank you for understanding. Thank you for trusting me. Thank you for being here. Thank you for not trying to stab me in the kidney, as many people would've. It seemed that she wouldn't respond with words. It was the way that her jaw tensed as her muscles stretched, putting her on tiptoes so that she was tall enough to reach his lips. It was a split-second that her arms came up, resting now on his shoulders. His eyes met hers as he leaned in to bridge the gap. It was the way that it all went crashing down. __________________________ Lore is a book of short stories about Marvel's Loki. For a character as multi-faceted as Loki, it can be difficult for him to find love. Here are the stories of people who are drawn to him (whether they like it or not) and seem to fall in love with the maddeningly different aspects of Loki's character: a trickster prince, a tortured villain searching for redemption, a frost giant, a god of mischief and stories, a TVA agent, a would-be king and a sorcerer.
Doesn't Play Well With Tricksters by AJK_ForFun

In this alternate universe, Loki has been exiled to Midgard when Odin sees through his disguise (Think the end of Thor, The Dark World). He is haunted by his part in the death of his adoptive mother. He has visions of her that may be her talking to him from beyond the veil of death or just his overactive guilty conscience playing tricks on him. Either way, he has promised her he will do everything he can to make up for the things he's done. Even if it takes until the end of time itself. As part of his penance, Loki is restricted to Stark Tower until such time as the team believes he is no longer a threat to the world. As it gives him the opportunity to try to keep his promise, he doesn't argue. Much. Rachael has recently acquired magic from a relative. Shortly after, she was recruited by Stark and moved into Stark Tower to help the team. It's the one place she would never have expected to encounter the God of mischief himself, who happens to be the root of the magic she doesn't trust. (Long story short, Rachael's ancestor Bridgette fell for Loki when he was on Midgard nearly four hundred years ago. Eight months after Odin ordered his sons home, Bridgette had a daughter. Skip about five years of wishing for him, and Bridgette accepts that he's not coming back. She marries and has other children. One of these later children is Rachael's ancestor. The elder child is the ancestor of Rachael's distant cousin Nicolla, who was adopted by Rachael's grandmother and raised as Rachael's aunt. Still confused? Leave a note and I'll try to clear it up for you.) Missions start to come in that force them to work together, and force her to admit he's doing what he can to make up for the destruction he's caused. At first, Rachael refuses to acknowledge the attraction she feels, but he, being the annoying godling he is, seems unable to take no (or a stiff right hook) for an answer. Contains adult language, themes, and (eventually) some sexual content (smut).

Growing up on Asgard was one thing, but being the daughter of Loki was another. Layla grew up learning magic, but was never fond of her father's ways. What happens when Loki looses Layla to who knows where? Two bad groups of people want her. No, they need her. Even though one seems like the safest place to be, is it? Will it protect her in the long run? Or will it be the death of her? Will her scarred uncle be there to save her? Or will he be what leads her to her death and maybe his own? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Bear with me here. I wrote the beginning when I was twelve. The beginning is bad, but it gets sooooo much better. Trust me. Pull through!! I cringed so many times reading the first few chapters. -warriorchip
