One day, Louis, a 16 year old sophomore in Meeresufer High School in Austria, decided to participate in a school camping consisting more than 200 students in the Ardennes.

Little did he and all the other students know, something was bound to inevitably happen.
In the middle of the night a loud rumbling was heard all over the plane of the forest like two continents were rubbing itself on each other. Birds flocked away and the earth was violently shaking. Minutes after this happened, the whole bright and starry sky went dark as if somebody, someone, somewhere has closed the earth away from reality itself.

"What happened?!" - Louis said as he was woken up by the loud noise of the night.

Then 1 day later, they've realized they are the only humans left on earth. All technologies and wonders built by humans are gone, the structures like the Pyramid of Giza whom witnessed the rise and fall of every nation and empire is gone, the behemoth ships of aircraft carriers, the Burj Khalifa towering over mountains, the society of which humanity is built on, is gone. The 225 students are forced to bare the responsibility to carry the torch of humanity and intelligent life onward, but do they have what it takes? Will they be able to rebuilt modern society from scratch? Will they be able to overcome the deadly greed and bloodlust of a human-being in a desperate way to survive? Find out in DRIFTED WORLD.
