In this AU, the news of Bella's cliff diving adventures is not broadcast without any thought. Instead, Bella goes three years without any interference by the Olympic Coven. She grows closer to Jake, but neither decide to pursue anything romantic further, instead remaining really good friends. However, Bella is kidnapped by a vampire nearing the end of that three years of peace. This vampire has plans for Bella, and an interesting theory.
He suggests that Bella isn't a magnet for danger. No, he thinks that she is a survivor. What would normally kill anything- human, vampire, whatever- can't kill her. Therefore, she naturally experiences more danger than most. In his efforts to prove that Bella can't be killed, will he push her over the breaking point mentally? And afterwards, can Bella still connect with her family at La Push? And what about the Olympic Coven, who had come down to Forks to search for her?
