I hope you read the first part of Labyrinth Legacy 1- Formation of the squad.

After the squad celebrated their hard-fought victory over the demons they believed to be vanquished, a sense of peace settled over the weary heroes. But beneath the surface, something sinister stirred. Theo, always the observant one, sensed an unsettling presence that he struggled to articulate before his untimely death. In his final moments, he confided only in Gareth, leaving behind a chilling warning that would haunt him.

As Gareth grappled with the loss of his friend, the unthinkable happened: Dione, the very demon they thought they had killed, returned with a vengeance, mercilessly ending Lily's life. In the aftermath of this horrific betrayal, Gareth discovered that not all was as it seemed; the corpses of four demons had vanished without a trace.
