The first chapter of Dead by Dawn was something far different than what ended up in the novel. It takes place over three hundred years before the events that transpire in the final novel. Showing vampires as they first arrived on American soil to terrorize the pilgrims.
This is that lost chapter. And yes, it's canon.

Bound by Desire
I hate having to write these... I don't know how to describe a book I haven't finished yet. But, based on what I have, here it goes. Please, keep in mind, this is book two of the trilogy. If you haven't read the first one yet, you can find it in my profile, Bound by Destiny. Barely living through the trap set by the Fae that wants her gone, Eve imagines the worst is behind her.
