Corron Copperfield. A young boy, who knows nothing of
riches, magic, or his heritage. He is brutally thrust into the life of a
wanderer by the death of his parents, but has no idea what that means. Learning
to survive is difficult in Azraell: kings, thieves, orcs, and elves search for
him, and more than one seek his head. Dragons, trolls, giants, phoenixes,
phantoms and many more roam this vast land. Some men have rebelled. They believe
magic is a cheap trick, a cheat on nature, a weapon of persecution. These so
called New Worlders are the ones who are to week or insecure wield magic. But
the New Worlders grow stronger. Darkness is creeping into their hearts and
souls. They who say they long for equality and peace, are the ones slaying all
who wield magic or burn all who disagree. Hope is almost lost. Can anyone
stand?

In a world where money can buy you literal power. A young halfling is out on the run for a crime he (probably) didn't commit. Joined by what seems to be a dim-witted orc, the duo has to brave various forces craving a powerful artifact known as the 'Grand Baetylus', a piece of crystalized magic so big that it can supposedly manifest any wish a person wants- if they know how to use it. Although, one wonders, when given access to such power and money, what does one oft do with them? [Very few chapters might be worth the Mature rating due to overly gorey and graphic writing. No sexual content or anything (unless you find that sexual, no kink shaming)]
