All Sara Adams wants is to save herself from, well, herself.
Being controlled by her parents all of her life doesn't give her much freedom; but it does give her time. But for Sara, time isn't a valuable thing. In fact, she hates it. All time does for her is causes her to think, and overthinking leads to dark thoughts.
Sara wants to feel exhilaration, she wants to feel the adrenaline of taking risks in life, she wants to do things that take her mind off of her thoughts. Her parents though, want otherwise.
One night, when Sara's finally had enough, she seeks to find the answer to all of her problems by laying in the middle of the road. Until a stranger comes and refuses to leave her laying there, where she was prone to getting hurt.
When this strange boy enters her life, she learns that to save herself, she'll need a little help.
