Iviella is an elf from an extinct kingdom in Fangorn. Having been exiled by all 3 elven kingdoms, taken on the name Ivy and cursed by the Necromancer, this elf is not happy. She has been waiting centuries for the prophecy of Durin's folk to begin. Now she joins Thorin and his Company on their quest to reclaim Erebor. The reason she joined, however, is to reverse the curse and take revenge on the kingdoms who wronged her.
Lili is Fili's and Kili's younger sister. Having no worry about becoming an heir to the throne, Alex is wild, adventurous, and very unladylike. Thorin dislikes her for her reckless antics, which always end up getting her injured. When Lili hears that her brothers Fili and Kili are going on a quest to reclaim Erebor, she sneaks after them. After all, it just wouldn't be fair if the boys got all the fun.
