December Fellowes was just like any normal girl before Azekiel Farris stepped into her life. A beautiful spring-natured girl captivated by the littlest things in life, naive as all teenagers should be. A budding rose readying herself for the joys of summer. She saw a man who wanted her, so she thought, and gave up all of herself with the smallest recognition of what exactly she was doing.
Until Summer turned into Autumn. Azekiel took that beautiful rose and plucked it from its vine, not caring about the girl who had dreams. Who wanted to dream. He took away her spring and instead, surrounded her in winter where no more roses could bloom. He trapped her inside herself and wasn't prepared for the icy cold that settled in her veins.
So she moved. And no one ever thought she'd return.
After her grandmother falls ill, December returns with a vengeance. She's determined to get her revenge on Azekiel and encase him in the same neverending winter he damned her with. But a rose has thorns for a reason, and plucking one always leaves a cut. The cold has settled in his veins ever since he ruined her and when they meet again, they can't deny the ice beginning to thaw their hearts. Winter is slowly starting to turn into spring, and will the ice thaw before December can get her revenge?

Getting closer, her eyes lashes flutter and I find myself holding my breath. She brushes her lashes to mine, her breath fanning against my lips. Subconsciously, I lean forward, wanting my lips to be on hers. June flutter her lashes, grazing her lashes to mine. Out of nowhere she bursts out in a fit of laughter. I flinch back. Butterfly kiss.
