Jess invites six of her bestfriends for a sleepover in which four of them are boys and three are girls. As everybody is finished with all the games and quizzes all of them lie still on the floor in a circle. When suddenly they hear slow thundering footsteps and Jess goes out to check when she comes back in she comes to know that it was a prank pulled by the boys. It's three in the morning and Jess remembers a deadly memory, of her grandmother's past even though she isn't sure if this actually happened but her granny used to tell her this story whenever she heard awkward footsteps. Jess commands them to sit up straight so she could tell them the story of a mythical creature which cursed her grandmother for life.
