The imprisoned follows the story of Pherra and Rue, two girls who are bound by fate. Pherra, a sick mortal girl living with an incurable "illness", is thrown into a world that is not her own. In doing so it sets off a series of events that will affect those even from the future...
Rue is a witch who struggles with night terrors and when she discovers the reason behind them, it makes her question her loyalty to her home. With her newfound knowledge she is forced to act with her heart and morals in conflict, but in doing this she will not only put her life in danger but the lives of everyone she has ever loved.
