Scarlett and Hero come from two very different worlds.

Scarlett is a child prodigy turned into adolescent burnout with a tendency to slip into addictions. She's sober now and trying to learn to make her own rules to abide by because rules are all she's ever known, they are her safe place.

Hero on the other hand is a celebrity widely known for starring in romcoms. He's portrayed as a Hollywood golden boy with a little edge. He has a tendency to play by his own rules, at least from an outside perspective.

After becoming temporary roommates for the summer, they connect on a different level. No lust just soul ties.

Things change when the rules are bent and Hero's manager has other plans in store for him.
