Chris DuPont is an aspiring dancer who knows he'll never make it far in life. Chris was diagnosed with leukemia at a young age. It never affected him much, so he never told his friends. One day, the doctors tell him he'll die within a year. Chris tries to tell his friends, but doesn't know how. When Chris does pass on, he watches over his best friends. Will he regret not telling them? Can he, somehow, keep them from falling apart?

Romeo sat patiently, holding onto Specs' hand tightly. He watched the doctor's every step, nervousness set on his heart. "Hey, Doc", Specs greeted, trying to offer a smile. He looked better than Hell. "What'd you find?" Romeo wasn't sure Specs could see it, noting he couldn't see anything without his glasses on-he talked about having a headache earlier, and took them off for that reason-but the doctor had a rather solemn look on her face, as if she just learned that someone was going to die. Romeo prayed. "Doc?" "You're results came back", she sighed, keeping it brief. Romeo wanted to yell at her, telling her how he knew the results came back, but he was on the edge of his seat in fear. "I have some news." "What's he got?" Romeo sniffled, trying to keep in his tears and not think of the worse. "Pneumonia?" Specs had had pneumonia before, when he was a kid. He told the story all the time, and Romeo knew it made him feel strong. He'd always say he could beat anything, but Romeo also knew it wasn't that simple. "A few respiratory infections, yes", the doctor agreed, glancing back at her chart. That was fine. Specs could take antibiotics for it and be good as new. "But there's something else. Your white blood cell count was low." Romeo glanced at Specs, worried out of his mind. He knew it. He saw every sign and didn't do shit about it; it's his fault. He should've forced Specs to get checked out. He should've done better. "Cancer?" That seemed to be the worse option. Yet, the doctor shook her head. "Worse, perhaps." When we're young we don't seem to think about all the things that could go wrong. At-least Blair Rivera didn't. She once believed that if you're a good person you get to live a full life, and maybe part of her still believed that. Well, that was until she found out she has a brain tumor. Her life changes in more ways then she can count. But some things that change she never saw happening like the new presence in her what she thought nonexistent love life. Hayden Hall is a boy shes known since they were kids seeing as he's her brothers best friend. They act like they cannot stand each other, but they're also each others favorite pain in their asses. But somehow things change between them in a blink of an eye. Except how can she fall for someone when she knows she doesn't have long left? How can she ever expect to be happy or to be there for a person when she knows she's dying? And what happens when her life gets cut even shorter when she finds out she's pregnant with his child? In the end of a heart wrenching, and captivating story only one thing is known for sure. No matter where she is in this lifetime, at-least he still has the beautiful parts she leaves behind.

"Leo pinned me against the wall with his hips; his hands gently gripping my wrists, keeping my arms above my head against the cool brick behind me. His beautiful, hazy blue eyes -that had turned straight quicksilver, again- were filled with such an intense, carnal desire I couldn't even look into them, so I looked over his shoulder. I saw a small group of kids from the group standing out by their cars who would easily be able to see what we were doing...or at least what Leo was doing to me. At that moment, my mind started wandering to all the things that I could be doing to him right now...but I stopped that train of thought, immediately, as it started heading to all the wrong places... All the dirty places... All of those places involving a very hard part of my body... I glanced back at Leo; his gaze was still as intense as it was before (unfortunately). He smirked at me and said confidently, "You can't ignore me forever, Ethan. You're eventually gonna fall for my charms..." Ethan Carter was focused on 2 things. 1. School (obviously) and 2. Getting over ex (it's proving to be, harder than he thought), but now he has to add dying to that list, and suddenly having feelings for a boy (which has happened once before, but Ethan tries to forget it). Leo Malone makes Ethan feel things he's never felt for another guy. Leo's sweet, patient, and understanding, the only problem is, he's a guy.
