After the war was over, Harry fell into a deep depression. Everyone who he had once loved was dead, all at the hands of Death Eaters. Dark Lord Voldemort, who had crowned himself King when the war had ended, was keeping Harry as nothing more than eye candy and a trophy. He was thinking of ending it all. An Avada to the head or a fall from his balcony would do it. As he sat atop the railing, however, a small dove landed in front of him with an envelope lashed to its ankle, breaking his concentration. Just this small moment in time was enough to send Fate into a spiral, and to put the world to motion once more.
