"Mean what?"
"The whole 'you wanted to feel pretty and wear a nice dress for this evening' thing."
He watched her open her eyes and she looked at him before pushing down her skirts and gliding her hands over the fabric.
"We never got this kind of stuff in Zaun. I just wanted to experience it just this once," Jinx murmured.

The tears all rushed back, as she threw herself onto him- hanging by his shoulder with one of her arms and the other, gripping onto the clothes around his waist "Save her!" Surprised at the sudden contact, the desperation in her voice, and the fact that he had no context as to what had just happened, he wasn't sure what to do- so for a second, she clung onto him, shoulders shaking as she cried.
