When the world decided to collapse, it was up to the living beings to find their own path and destinations. Penelope and her new found survivors were in no different situation. Everyone was looking for a better end than being turned into one of the flesh-eaters. In Penny's version of the world, it was up to her to fight through the changes of an apocalyptic world and overcome all the difficulties that came with it. New friendships formed, and some ended before beginning. Even among the dead, there stayed the last of them.
