After years of abuse, Adam gets enough. He leaves his husband and moves to London with his two kids. When they moved into their new house, they began unpack their stuff and get settled into their new life.
A few days later he visits a bookstore to buy a book to his daughter. He meets a man named George who owns the bookstore. He's kind and funny. Adam knows they just met, but he feels ready to start dating again. They're going on a date and George tells Adam that he's the love of his life.
At the same time, the town is hit by murder. People disappear and dead bodies are found. Rumors that a serial killer is at large are starting to spread in the city. Maybe George is not as innocent as he seems. When Adam finds out his dark secret, it's already too late.

She ask him to move out, because it's haunted. A horrible event took placed in that house many years ago. Adam doesn't believe her. Pretty soon, Max starts hearing child laughter and a lullaby at night. She tells it to her dad, but Adam says she has to stop watching horror movies. But what they don't know is that the woman was right. The house is possessed by evil spirits. The story threatens to be retold if they're not careful.
