In a society where people are surrounded by lights, neon, ads, and not much interpersonal connection, something terrible is lurking.
People begin to step in front of buses and trains, seemingly happy to meet their end-unnatural grin spread on their faces.
A thief that can control traffic patterns is recruited to help with the situation after they suspect that a similar supernatural ability is at play in this dire situation.
