This is the original version of my most successful book; Reuploaded. I originally unpublished it for the rewriting process and moved this version to a new draft so I could work on the book. ••• Prince Kai Smith longs to escape the suffocating castle atmosphere and live his life adventuring, but his betrothal and kingdom inheritance prevents him from doing so. That is, until he's nearly assassinated. Soon after, the King calls for Ninjago's greatest heroes to protect Kai and his sister from possible danger.

Lloyd Garmadon, the Green Ninja and leader of the infamous ninja team, is one of the chosen ninjas tasked with protecting the royal family. He's assigned to Prince Kai-heir to the throne and charming in his cockiness. Things go well at first, but then danger once again emerges-this time inside the royal family's inner circle. When put in the face of danger once again, Kai and Lloyd are forced to work together in order to make it out alive and save Ninjago from a devastating fate. •••

Cole - A strong boy who you think would give you the look 'get off my lawn' but actually pretty sweet and definitely can't think straight at all. Jay - A trouble maker who is... Questionable? And just a bit weird. I don't think you can describe him as smart or clean. More like a dog that follows you around. Nya - A badass girl who fucking hates you if you mess with her, Jay or Kai. In the present day, the ninja, Kai, Cole, Jay, Nya, and Zane, with their masters, Wu and Garmadon, discover a large organization of the same assassins that attacked Misako and Garmadon being lead by a powerful and dangerous foe on an unknown island they never knew about-the Dark Island. This foe was unlike others, he was the eternal enemy of the First Spinjitzu Master. Together, the ninja team work their way over to the island to try and fight them, not knowing that a small group, who aren't so different from the ninja, are already working on it.
