A fanfiction that was created to depict what would have happened if Saero had not intercepted the Demon Lord's summoning. Many questions hover over this scenery: what would have happened to Y/N? What would the Demon Lord have in store for her? Would he want to make her his slave? Or part of his harem? Maybe torture her? Perhaps making her just use her as bait? And, what would the boys have done?

Lackeys of the Demon Lord, known as Enforcers, were more than happy to turn a blind eye in favor of keeping a steady inflow of what the Demon Lord and other demons desired. And what they desired, more often than not, were human pets. A series of stories where each brother is forced into ownership of a human and forced to navigate the perils of the Abyssal Plains whilst keeping her safe. Cora is Damien's path. AN: This story is being COMPLETELY reworked as I prepare to update and start on 'Tori' again. It originally debuted in August of 2017 on AO3. I try to leave most of my older work alone, maybe fix some grammatical and spelling errors but otherwise: I don't touch them. That being said, I've been promising the next work in this series for a long while now and I just can't write the next story without fixing this one first. It's... so bad, guys. It just is. Like, it's supposed to be somewhat like an Otome on the realism scale, but even with that, there are some parts of this that I am literally choking on. So I'm re-doing it. The story line will still be mostly the same, but we're going to flesh out these characters a bit, add some continuity in the POVs, and make some pieces a bit more realistic. If you truly liked the old one and I am messing up your world, I really am sorry. That being said, this is turning out being quite a bit darker in language and imagery than the original, so keep that in mind. I think it makes the Demon Lord a much more true to canon character, but you'll have to make your own judgements. As of right now, Chapters 1-4 have been reworked.
