The door opens into a musty room, as though the windows had never been opened once. The lady always said it was to intimidate whoever came in. But the girl wasn't. No, she couldn't be. The lady places a steaming cup in front of her. She glares at the girl for a few moments.

❝How do you kill a god, you ask?❞

The girl nods, her eyes full of nervousness. Yet, a small glimmer of determination shone in them.

❝That's simple. Just make them fall in love with you, madly in love. And then, you leave them. Abandon them and you will get to see them break every single day. For all of eternity.❞

--- an excerpt from 'To Kill A God'
