End of Their World - S & D Tier Villains

If the most powerful entity in the universe is a local villain, and their favourite person is a low-ranking villain, it is unwise to kill that favourite person.

I thoroughly enjoy the TikTok series by lighthouseraiders, and I love the S-Tier cosplay that bluekriket.cos does. The latter made a short side series imagining a scenario where S-Tier watches D-Tier die on the news, and wants revenge. They then wrote a fanfic on AO3 to bring that scenario to a written form.
I was heavily inspired by them, but carried it out differently. And for clarity of my take, since the original characters have no specified genders: Alex (S-Tier) is she/her, Morgan (D-Tier) is he/him, and I'm basing this off of my own drawings of them, as seen in the cover (plus a really quick and messy background.)
