After confronting Arlo and Remi in a courtyard and instigating a fight unwinnable for them, John feels the immense pressure of a power thought to be permanently gone. Facing a fight with his former friend, Seraphina, John is forced into a situation where he truly embraces the old. Unready and unwilling to change yet, John stands his ground with his years of experience propping him up to face the goddess who wants to talk. John knows what Seraphina wants, he's just not willing to give it. Two teens enroll hiding a secret ability that many want control of. With fake manipulations of other dimensions and weird ability histories nothing seems real anymore until one of them ultimately stops these people from creating choas.
