Consequences of Chasing Mirages

A delusional young man tries to invest all his time, knowledge, and efforts in proving the existence of a multiverse. However, this dream seems to be too much for him, which led him to try and find other things that could help give meaning to his life once again. Unfortunately, some turn of events will force him to use his new found motivation to return and accomplish the project. Thus, using it to sustain his need to find another meaning for his life, even though each leap will cost him dearly.
