What if the perfect dystopia masked itself as the perfect utopia? What if the only way to fight the oppression was to tear a family apart? To shape them into perfect weapons?

Aegis and Ayame, each started their lives as very different people. Aegis was moulded into an assassin until he broke, and then utilised for a very different purpose as a slave. Ayame on the other hand was a completely ordinary teenager with a myriad of secrets.

After a tragic turn of events that led to a revelation of the Martial Eclipse, their long-forgotten birthright, the pair decided to join the same rebellion for very different reasons. One to satiate their darkness and the other to escape it. One to exact vengeance and the other to find peace. 

However, despite having the same enemy, the same tyrant that made both their lives a living hell, each of them have always been plagued by very different demons. If they ever want some semblance of an ordinary life again, they will need to face more than just the monster that started this, they will need to face the monsters inside their head too.

A fair and just world, devoid of all sins, where everyone can live a peaceful life without the constant worry of what could hurt them next. New laws will be placed while the old ones are removed. All evil will be purged from the world. Any who stand in his way will be turned to ash to help build his world. If the world wanted him to be evil so badly...then he would be a malicious tyrant that rules not with an iron fist, but a diamond one. Of course, there will be many who will fight back. However, there is only one person who even has a chance at winning...and she only cares about her little sunshine.
