It's been three years since that fateful day on that mountain. Much has changed for seventeen year old Jolene and soon to be eighteen Miakoda. Forced to live on a reservation in a unfavorable location, the world is slowly pushing the Wapiti to its limits.
What's worse is that Jolene needs to prove herself to the Chief and the rest of the tribe. She must become a brave or be forced to leave forever.
Will Jolene survive the trails? Will this bring Miakoda and her together or will the powers that be pull them apart?

The Girl Who Cried Wolf

13 parts Complete

The woods are not a place for a girl like her. She knows. But it only makes her more curious. Curiosity killed the cat, she was warned. She did not give heed for she was no cat. Red, or at least what everyone calls her, the girl in the red hoodie wants to go to the woods. The place her grandmother forbids her from going without an explanation. For in there, she's likely to get killed by shape shifting wolves- hunters. Determined to go to the woods, Red meets her first hunter, a huge white wolf with eyes as blue as the midnight sky. She knows what a wolf like that could do. A wolf like that could kill her too. A Red Riding Hood Retelling. The Girl Who Cried Wolf © 2022 Jedayo. Currently editing!
