In 2038, Androids have begun to deviate at an alarming rate to the point that Cyberlife has created an android specifically tasked with hunting down deviated androids. Her model is RK800, the only model of her kind for she is a prototype for future androids if she succeeds in stopping Markus and his revolution.
As she takes on these cases with her team of human officers, Y/N begins to unravel a dark truth that she might not even be able to handle.. Will she accomplish her mission? Or will her eyes be opened to what has been possibly Cyberlife's BIGGEST secret that could change everything. For the better? Or for the Worst for Detroit?
This is a Detroit Become Human fanfiction in an alternate universe where the reader is an RK800 android while Connor and RK900 are humans.
Reader will be addressed as Y/N and will be identified as female with She/Her pronouns
while other characters will be identified as male with He/Him pronouns.
!!!WARNING!!! There will be violence, strong language, sexual themes, smoking, drinking, drugs, and even adult content. Since this story is based off of DBH that shows blood/ violence, and even android/human racism.
Disclaimer: I do not own Detroit Become Human or any of the characters. The cover art was done by me using myself as a model with some editing. The background photo is from Detroit Become Human. This is a reader insert and an AU with android characters being human while the reader is an android. This story will follow the main story line pretty closely, but will have other events added to build more of the story of Y/N and her connection.

--- Updates on Mondays --- The Detroit police department in 2039 is a strange place. Outbreaks of Deviancy within the everyday android are turning this town rampant; and is turning the police department into a war zone. A hard-boiled eccentric police lieutenant, and his android, RK800 companion are no longer able to keep up with the cases by themselves, and request an additional partner. Everyone in the police department are already over loaded, so CyberLife creates a in-the-works android, developed by Elijah Kamski to investigate, analyze, and problem solve. And it's name is "Sean." A 16 -13 -1. Hank and Connor greet their partner with stress, and demands of perfection. Due to Sean being a project started by Kamski, there are somethings that set him apart from the normal android. There are multiple parts to his "mind" that come to serve his partners. Sean's primary directive is to serve, and assist these two in their investigations, but something deep inside of him has other plans. As Sean breaks from what he was made to do, he has to really find out what he is made of, and what he is going to do with it. ----- DISCLAMER: I highly recommend watching, or playing Detroit: Become Human before reading. The the year 2038 everything seemed to finally be looking up for the recently torn city of Detroit, not for young (name) who couldn't speak since an accident at age six left her mute. Being mute had a lot of disadvantages, the biggest being that most humans couldn't understand sign language at her workplace in the Stratford tower, so the only friends she really had were androids. An RX800 android, Brent being her best friend Then, after a supposed terrorist bombing at the Stratford tower, she is thrown into a police investigation head first, the only person with she could really communicate was an RK800 android named Connor. Throughout the investigation, however, (name) grows a strong attachment to Connor, with him treating her like an actual equal than a strange foreigner.
