Their mansions and wealth which they basked in, is no longer safe for them in Westview after their unnatural abilities went viral. It's either they kept running as quarries or turned against the predators (scientists, government officials, private companies...) who were after them.

Their leader, a destructive insomniac, promises to help him in return for the skills and usefulness this young boy seems to possess, but something disrupting sends waves of unease through the Raiders, something about a forgotten past and talk of a mutiny.
