A Slow Death In Standard Pacific Time

Killua Zoldyck's execution is scheduled for the 25th of December, Year 2019. In the modern theocracy he must live in day after day, it's unthinkable how an atheist like him managed to survive for this long. However, his lucky streak has run its course and he now faces the consequences of yearning for freedom. On Christmas day, he is to be executed. That is, if the most dedicated family in the country cannot help him reach salvation. Gon Freecss is his only hope of ever making it past the 25th but his resilience proves to be a strong obstacle-and distractor, which Gon soon finds out. He also finds that the Zoldycks aren't as nefarious as all have rumored. Instead, he discovers that Killua and his younger siblings, the only Zoldycks left who have experienced nothing but the short end of the stick, have hearts and are kind. And while Gon struggles with this discovery, Killua must decide if his want to live trumps his pride; and if his new developing "friendship" with Gon is enough to give his life meaning.
