When a Blood Demon Art turns all the Hashira into cats and forces them into hiding, all your expertise as the Butterfly Estate's veterinarian and biochemist is redirected into three objectives.
1) Protect the Hashira.
2) Finish the anti-Kibutsuji drug.
3) Track down the demon who cast the Blood Demon Art. And kill them.
Tamayo graciously allows you and the Hashira to take refuge in her home in Asakusa, hiding from demons stalking across Nihon on the hunt for the Corps' strongest slayers. Unfortunately you, too, have your ghosts. And they live in Asakusa.
Without the Hashira, the organization is weak, and Kibutsuji Muzan smells blood. While the Demon King musters his forces to wipe out the vulnerable Corps once and for all, you're racing against time to undo the Blood Demon Art and complete the anti-Kibutsuji drug, and you have to do all of it before the demons - and your past - catch up with you.
Good thing you're fast. And so are your nine cats.

So basically, you. Muzan's 14-year-old half-demon daughter (I know it's cliche but bear with me) who he doesn't know even exists, somehow ended up under the suspicion of being a demon, which you were, halfway. And it was decided that you would now be living with the famous insect hashira. Shinobu Kocho. In the Butterfly mansion until they found out whether you were a demon or not after the test they had prepared had failed. And though they would never admit it, they were basically holding you hostage and waiting by to kill you off. You refused quite a bit but you apparently had no say in it. Well, you might've not liked the fact that they were currently holding you hostage to figure out whether you were actually a demon or not before killing you after figuring out that you were a demon like Sanemi so wished to do so. There wasn't, much you could do in this situation. The most efficient solution you could think of to get them to leave you alone for the rest of eternity without spilling any blood was to lay low until their suspicion of you being a demon eventually died down and they allowed you to leave yourself. However... It seemed there were quite a number of Demon slayers who greatly disapproved of your stay here, or at least they were very wary of you. the most annoying one being Sanemi Shinazugawa. The reason was obvious enough. You were a demon. Which now made the biggest hassle you had to deal with, staying alive until that point. You have met quite a few demon slayers during your stay at the butterfly mansion, and though not many had been very pleasant. There were others you encounters with a few individuals who were... How can you judge whether you're doing the right thing when all you can see is grey? And in the deepest darkness of ignorance, confusion, the darkness of a decline of selfishness and ignorance, only the cats seem to see through the darkness. This story is a tragedy, just like Demon Slayer. There is an ending. Is it a good one? A bad one? Is the dried cat blood on the ground worth it? Was it all worth it, were the dead, the lost, worth it, just so someone switches the light button on?
