Bonnie, Roxy, Chica, and Freddy didn't know Monty, mostly because they never bothered to befriend the intimidating gator, but they had seen the gator as he often stood outside his attraction, watching them perform.

It wasn't until Monty took Bonnie's place that their paths finally intertwined.
