What is a soulmate? Who is this person in your life you know you could never live without, a person you feel lost without? What would you do if you find the one you love, the one you want to spend the rest of your life with, but you know that this love can only be true in fairytales. In this reality, he was just a soulmate who wasn't meant to be. Who couldn't be.

This is the story of two men. Two men who fall in love, but know it would never work out. Out of fear of losing another, and out of rejection and abandonment by those they've grown around. Their love for music, and each other, would be something they'd hold to themselves to the grave. Or so they thought

This is a fan-story of my Oc, Miguel Mendoza, and my friend's Oc, Mattheo. They're both encanto oc's, and this story takes place in the same timelines as the disney film Encanto. Both Miguel and Mattheo were created and the ship of the two was originally a joke, started by me going "is he single /j" and built into the story you're about to read. I do hope you enjoy it as a lot of thought went into these characters.
