It all came toppling down. One moment, I was there, smiling and laughing with the human faces that girdled me. Exchanging ideas, offering help, and covering for each other's antics. I don't know. It- It just happened too quickly for me to process. Was it a fire? I wasn't sure, and I find it difficult to say. But if there's something I know, it's that I did not deserve it to happen. None of us did.

We weren't born to spill blood. Not me, not any of them out there. All those corpses that lay there, embracing my spines to spell a creepy chill, whispering into the hot zephyr kissing my torsos. They have me bound like a volcano, the inferno bubbling with every passing moment, the fiery rage that rushes through my veins, not dying out. All I know is that I have to do this.

You know what? Business never seemed to interest me until you did it, to make me lose my loved one once. Now I'll ensure you lose yours, with your respect, and your dignity a thousand times more. As the last leaf on their tree, the last hope for their survival, I'd do it all to ensure your payback. With excellent interests.

Because last leaves don't wither. They hold their heels to witness spring, and its peers entering a fresh chapter, and then kiss the ground with a smile on their faces to spill.

29 parts Complete Mature
After the eventual failure of Apex Cybernetics, Godzilla and Kong both declared a truce finally ending the war started by their ancestors. As far back as 2014, Monarch had been working on a new energy source operation. In Honolulu, Hawaii, they built a power grid made up of three experimental Titan Cell Fusion Reactors. These reactors were powered by the primordial radioactive residue left by Godzilla and other Titans rather than conventional nuclear energy. Monarch quickly discovered that this residue contained incredible amounts of Titan DNA, and the United States would soon be the First Nation to benefit from Titan Energy. However, terror and disaster struck without warning the following year. After a magnitude 9.8 earthquake devastated the area, horrifying tourists and locals, all three reactors malfunctioned and detonated with a powerful shockwave, forcing the project to be relocated. Over 120,000 people were killed and 200,000 were left injured in the unprecedented aftermath. However, this was not the first time Hawaii had experienced a reactor incident. One survivor was Sean Harris who lost his family 15 years ago. Now he was a young adult who happened to be a well respected and high ranked employee in the company, but Sean was still at the reactor area when the tragedy struck, and the shockwave sent him flying. He was lost at sea while suffering from radiation poisoning, but also undergoing a physical molecular mutation that slowly transformed him into a kaiju. Time went on and he entered a catatonic state in the depths of the sea after fleeing military forces, and knew mankind would never aid him. Godzilla, Queen of the Monsters found him and brought him back to an island paradise for Titans. Yet why did Godzilla decide to save him? How would he learn to embrace his new life? Will the planet witness the rise of the Queen's destined King?

DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN GODZILLA! I ONLY OWN THE STORY! 1 year has slipped by since the tumultuous upheaval in Hong Kong, where Godzilla's fleeting presence momentarily restored a delicate balance. The world, still mending, now quakes as fresh seismic disturbances shatter the uneasy peace. The haunting echoes of monstrous roars and colossal shadows have dimmed, yet Monarch faces bizarre phenomena surfacing from the abyss-something immense, powerful, and incomprehensible. What was once a mere legend has morphed into a chilling reality: Cthulhu has risen! This ancient entity, once relegated to folklore, has emerged from the sunken ruins of R'lyeh, unleashing chaos across the globe. Ominous skies and turbulent seas signal the arrival of this cosmic horror, its influence spreading like a contagion to all who dare gaze into the abyss. Titans worldwide are seized by terror, their instincts igniting a primal panic. Godzilla, once the symbol of balance, now confronts a force that shatters the natural order. Other kaiju resonate with this collective fear, bracing for a confrontation that could seal the fate of the planet. As cities brace for the impending storm, humanity stands at a pivotal juncture: will we unite against a common threat, or will our divisions lead to our demise? An atmosphere of dread hangs heavy, nations casting suspicious glances at one another as leaders grapple with decisions that could either forge alliances or deepen rifts. Amidst this chaos, ordinary people find themselves thrust into extraordinary situations. Scientists scramble to unravel this emergence, while military forces prepare for a potential clash that could mean either destruction or salvation. Communities band together, pooling resources and knowledge, realizing that their survival depends on unity rather than discord. As the monumental clash between ancient forces and modern society looms, the vital question remains: will we stand united, or fall prey to chaos and division?

#1 Teen Fiction | #1 Young Adult | #1 Romance "We all need someone to drive us mad." - The Wombats. He stared arrogantly down at me, a smirk plastered across his face. I sneered up at him with distaste, wanting to wrap my fingers around his neck and strangle that smirk off of him. He brushed my golden hair from my face, his long, slender fingers sparking electricity in my skin, making my knees wobble together. "Will you ever, forgive me?" he whispered huskily, his eyes intently staring into mine. His face was only mere inches from me. I just needed to reach out a little further to kiss him... "Yeah. Over my dead body." I snapped, before throwing my arms out forcefully, shoving my hands into his chest, pushing him from me. -*-*-*- He, is Carter Williams. I, am Lacey Adams. We were once, inseparable. The 'Golden Couple'. The unbreakable best friends, that everybody envied. Nothing could get between us. The loving relationship we shared, was severed and torn apart. I couldn't hardly stand to look at him any more, without spitting fire that is. Every day is torture being around him. He was in all my classes at school and the window in my room was even directly aligned with his. So, what happens? My mother's mum gets sick, so dad and her fly out. Just them. Leaving me to stay with Carter and his parents, who are never home. We would be alone. In one house. Under the same roof. If I was insane before, I have no idea what I am now. © 2016 by LaurenJ22. "Who's out there?" One of the men yelled. Of course only silence met them. I remained quiet and waited for the group to start moving again. "Maybe it was just an animal." Someone whispered. The person, who I assumed was the captain of the small squad, signaled for them to walk again. They clearly showed fear as they kept going; brandishing their weapons to guard themselves with. "Two are holding lanterns. I'll tell you when you're too close to them." I heard my friend whisper in my ear. I followed the men as I picked up another branch and waited for the right time to break it. They continued to walk through the forest, turning their heads in every direction as if an animal might lunge at them and rip their throats out. I guess in a way I was going to do that. "Go back a few feet." My friend whispered. I carefully distanced myself from the group and waited. "Where is she?" I quickly snapped the stick as soon as he finished asking the question. They stopped and two soldiers raised their lanterns to shine its light in the darkness. I quickly hid behind a tree before both of them turned where I was. A low frustrated growl came from one of the men, "The girl's playing with us. She's out here following our every move." How paranoia can cloud the mind. At nine years old, Silver decided to leave her village for the forest. Since then, she's been hunted; everyday is a fight for her life, every breath she takes could be her last, but she's determined to stay alive. Her life isn't the kind anyone would want to live but she's managed to survive this long so, what's a few more years?

1 part Complete Mature

All you wanted to do was follow in your parents footsteps. Complete their hard work, work they died for. It was just supposed to be a quick excavation, an investigation into supposed ancient grounds that held knowledge of the elusive yet world renowned titans. You weren't supposed to be pushed down into a cavern. And you certainly weren't supposed to run into whatever resided inside it. Unfortunately, good things never went your way. And somehow, you caught the eyes of the beast that lurked below. •••• Alright, this is basically an au oneshot the follows the same concept as my main story, but is also different. Main concepts are: Godzilla(characters), tomb raider, and the concept of the movie damsel. More so the creature in a cave. This is still yandere Godzilla and young reader tho! good old father-daughter vibes ✨️ (he's not the greatest-) readers age can be viewed between 13-16, depends on personal preference. And I have no idea who the artist for the cover is, I found it on pinterest and added the title and child logo there :^
