Lars, a young boy who was tasked to deliver a letter from Mrs. Stuarts to her husband Mr. Stuarts, one of the Commanders in the U.S. Naval forces.

The year is 2030. The United States of America is enjoying a relative peace time. While there are still tensions around the world, the U.S. has managed to avoid any major conflicts. That was until a mysterious medieval-looking structure appeared out of nowhere in the middle of Washington D.C. Suddenly, the nation's capital is under attack by a medieval-style army and creatures only seen in fantasy stories. This mysterious army, however, soon realizes that they stepped on the dragon's tail. This story is based off the anime/manga series, Gate, but follows a different storyline and characters. I do not own Gate, but the story and characters in this story are mine.

2071 Current Age: Dark Hope-Starlight As tensions brew between the Anthro race and mankind, over many political and ideological accidents and general fear of one another, the inevitable fate of war broke out, which lasted for many years. Later tensions rose even further as the last stronghold of humanity UCA (United Continents Of The America's) ended communication with the Union, a massive collective of Anthro countries. They deemed the UCA far too significant a threat. So, a known and historically feared spec ops team TaskForce Black Leopard is sent on missions to gather information about the UCA. On the other side of the planet, different views can be heard from afar and wide. While threats far greater than humans or Anthro could ever imagine lurk in the shadows, waiting, and watching. An unnatural force known as the abominationus attacks the earth, a gateway soon opening that connects two worlds, with Black Leopard at the forefront.

Two years later a singular Rebel Cell has overthrown the government of the United States and has plunged the World into a desperate War to reclaim the Country that is no longer a Democracy. During the two years prior however Technology was to be proved as the downfall for several countries including U.S and China which had found themselves fighting for control over this one group. In the midst of the Combat the Contentinal Empire under the Rulership of Steven 1 has managed to push back the Allied forces with the help of a young and great strategic Leader known as "Frame". With his past and his history being a mystery "Frame" has been known to be one of the greatest Strategic minds since the famed Napoleon Bonaparte 1, leading victory after victory without a single loss. But when an allied Europe along with Russia plans to attack this solomn force of foes the Young General prepares for a counter attack that will plung the World into a State of War once more.

An alternate scenario of World War II. Typically, these stories involve adding elements, such as equipping Japan with modern technology or granting them knowledge from the future. But that approach feels too conventional, so I tried subtracting instead. I decided to remove the enormous factor that is the United States of America. The result was an entirely different history. As this conflict between the 2 last countries left spirals out of control, the past suddenly begins to rise from the ashes leaving questions to arise in the thoughts of many soldiers on both sides including Caleb and Elena that, if answered, reveals a dark and unsettling truth. Scarcity is a story of curiosity, critical thinking, corruption, and trust in a collapsing world.
