All Jackie Sullivan wants to do is play hockey. Her dream of playing in the NHL starts to dwindle as she goes longer and longer without being drafted. The Minnesota Wild take a chance on her, drafting and inviting her to camp. Charlie Coyle didn't know how to feel once he caught wind that a girl has the potential to make the team. When she steps into the locker room, he doesn't expect to be physically attracted to her. The two can't deny their attraction to each other, however, Jackie struggles to either follow her head or follow her heart, after all, life is full of chances that need to be taken.

The Day Has Come (Counting on Hockey #4)

34 parts Complete

So, the day of Meredith's new job has come. She's officially a journalist for the Minnesota Wild, the NHL hockey team. She's also the girlfriend of six years to Cole Anderson, second line center, for the Wild. She's the head journalist, which comes with challenges and responsibilities. With being the only journalist for the team at the moment, she has to do the job of two or three other people, and hire somebody new to work with her, which may be harder than she anticipated. Her trouble with trying to find somebody new, is the hardest thing she's ever had to do. The applicants either have other jobs they took, or they don't do their jobs, at all. But the most important person in Meredith's life, is none other than a person she interviews on a daily basis, her boyfriend, Cole Anderson. They've lived together on and off for the past four years, though some of the time was with their best friend, Noah Smith. The relationship's promise was broken once, but taped back together. They try to forget about the horrible past on separate ends of their lives. The next year of their lives together will make or break their relationship, and learn the true responsibility of an adult relationship in the real world, not some high school love story.
