"The Burning Spiral" Short stories

A collection of short stories, for a story universe I'm tentatively calling "The Burning Spiral"
I will be posting this on Royal Road, Wattpad, and Scribble Hub, but only there.
The first one, a tale of humans, discovering, and meeting new races.
The second, a mom, having to explain to her daughter that their plane home broke down, and is under maintenance.
If anyone has suggestions, I would love to hear them.
Also, tag suggestions would be very helpful and greatly appreciated.
I was expecting to have this uploaded far sooner. As is, I'm hoping that getting *something* uploaded is the kick in the butt I need to write more.
I do not have any solid update schedule as of yet, and I expect to be a while before I can make one.
Fair warning for users on Wattpad, I honestly haven't been very active here for a while, so I don't know how quickly/reliably I'll be able to respond to comments. I'm much more active on Scribblehub and Royal Road at the moment, and will have a proper discord set up soon so if you want to engage with me more actively, those might get better results.
